Your treatment coordinator is with you from start to finish. She'll explain the procedure and answer every question you have along the way.

In your initial smile consultation, you’ll meet with Dr. Youmans to discuss your dental goals. We’ll perform an exam and take special X-rays to assess your current smile. In the consultation, Dr. Youmans will have you share more about the smile you’re looking for and will answer any questions or concerns you may have.

At your pre-surgery records appointment, we’ll take all the necessary scans, photos, and impressions of your mouth using our advanced technology. You’ll receive the instructions for what to do the morning of your procedure and aftercare. You’ll receive your prescriptions, which you’ll want to fill before the day of your procedure.

The day of your procedure, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing. When you get to the office you’ll be escorted to the back, made comfortable, and then sedated. A qualified member of our team will be by your side the entire time. Most patients don’t remember the procedure, they just sleep through it. You can expect to be at our office for the majority of the day. The procedure is only a few hours, but you’ll be sleeping off the anesthesia for a while. When you wake up, you’ll have a beautiful set of temporary teeth. These are your healing set, which you’ll wear while your body and bone heal and integrate with the implants—a crucial step to ensure the best possible result. Temporary teeth are nearly indistinguishable from what your final teeth will look like.

Dr. Stuart Youmans is a general dentist and recognized board-certified implant specialist in the state of Wyoming. With over 5,000 dental implants placed and restored, with collaboration on hundreds of other complex cases, he has truly become a leader in the region. He has focused his postgraduate training on complex dental implant and oral reconstruction therapy, allowing him to provide seamless treatment, in the most complex cases, with the latest in treatment options. These treatment options include All-On-X -- fixed hybrid prostheses treatment, complex oral surgery/exodontia procedures, extensive oral reconstruction with hard/soft tissue grafting, zygomatic implant surgery, and dynamic surgical navigation, to name a few.

Dr. Youmans, with his wife Melissa (DDS), resides in central Wyoming with their three children. While passionate about his role in advanced/complex oral reconstruction, his true passion revolves around faith and family. When not chasing his kids around the region for sports and theatre, you might find him honing his aviation or bow-hunting skills in the great state he resides!

Through the Atlantic Implant Institute, Dr. Hogan teaches the full-arch procedure and process to dentists from around the world.
